Spiral Toys' CloudPets Mobile-Connected Plush Toys Now Available at Walmart Stores

(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 07/28/15 -- (OTCQB: STOY), a leading provider of mobile-connected wireless entertainment products, has begun the nationwide rollout of the CloudPets interactive plush toy at Walmart stores, as well as on . CloudPets are expected to be available at more than 3,800 Walmart retail locations in time for the holiday shopping season.
CloudPets is the first consumer product to be powered by Spiral's proprietary Bluetooth Smart Communications Module. The unique technology connects the CloudPet toy to the CloudPet app on popular mobile devices, allowing parents, grandparents and friends to deliver, in their own voice, a "message you can hug" from anywhere around the world. Then with a simple squeeze of their CloudPet, the child can reply instantly.
Following CloudPets' successful direct response television campaign, the world's largest retailer has begun selling four different CloudPets animals, including the new magical Unicorn available exclusively at Walmart and Walmart.com. Spiral has also created special mobile app content for the exclusive unicorn CloudPet.
Walmart is featuring CloudPets in their own colorful, stand-alone kiosks stationed at prominent traffic locations within each store.
The national retail rollout for CloudPets is the culmination of a multi-million dollar television and digital media marketing campaign, fully funded by Spiral partners, that has produced thousands of online orders, followed by wholesale orders for more than one million CloudPets destined for retail store shelves across the country.

Future updates already in the works include access to a library of interactive stories that allow remote CloudPet app users, like parents or grandparents, to read a bedtime story via the CloudPet.
