Bangkok Office achieving Schaeffler Technology Center Status
Another Milestone for Schaeffler
(PresseBox) - Schaeffler Asia Pacific has added yet another feather to its cap with its Bangkok office in Thailand attaining Schaeffler Technology Center (STC) certification. STC are local centers of technical excellence focusing on the region they are located in. The Bangkok location joins 26 others spread throughout the globe, and demonstrates Schaeffler's commitment to providing customized engineering expertise of the highest standards to customers regardless of wherever they may be. The certification is part of the Schaeffler Global Technology Network (GTN) where local knowledge from within each region is brought together with the know-how and innovative power of Schaeffler experts from all over the world.
Schaeffler Technology Centers are only given the certification after a thorough audit in which the organizations have to demonstrate a specific range of high-standard knowledge in twelve competencies relating to bearings solutions such as mounting services and failure analysis. The certified technical expertise is permanently upheld through regular training courses, workshops and audits. This ensures that customers benefit from the same high standards all over the world.
Schaeffler Thailand being the first STC in Southeast Asia reflects Schaeffler's commitment to establishing itself in a region which has shown significant potential for growth in the upcoming years. With the addition of the Bangkok location to the Global Technology Network, local and regional customers now have easier access to Schaeffler's global expertise. This proximity will effectively reduce the lead time for delivering solutions from engineers who are familiar with local requirements but at the same time, have access to a global support system in the shape of the GTN.
