Imtech: Imtech Germany files for insolvency

Further to its press releases of 28 July, 4, 5 August and earlier today, Royal
Imtech N.V. ('Royal Imtech') announces that its subsidiary Imtech Germany
("Imtech Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG") has filed for insolvency in the relevant
German court. This filing only relates to Imtech Germany.
In light of these developments and the resulting potential conflicts of
interest, Mr Felix Colsman, chairman of the board of Imtech Germany, has decided
to step down as member of the Board of Royal Imtech. Mr Colsman will remain
chairman of the board of Imtech Germany. Royal Imtech is grateful for all that
Mr Colsman has done for Royal Imtech.
As already announced earlier today Royal Imtech is evaluating the current
situation and its consequences and is considering all options.
Royal Imtech will update the market as soon as possible more specifically on the
consequences of these developments.
