REMINDER/Media Advisory: CMHC to Release Quarterly Results of its House Price Analysis and Assessment Framework (HPAA)

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 08/13/15 -- Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) will release the quarterly results of its House Price Analysis and Assessment (HPAA) on Thursday, August 13 at 11:30 am (EST).

The HPAA is a comprehensive and integrated framework that aims to identify potentially problematic conditions in the Canadian housing markets.

The results account for economic, financial and demographic drivers and will include an assessment of the national market as well as 15 Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs) - Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec, Moncton, St. John's and Halifax (with Victoria, Hamilton and Moncton being added from the previous report released in April).

Media are invited to participate in a conference call as CMHC's Chief Economist Bob Dugan, as well as CMHC regional economists and key market analysts will discuss the HPAA methodology and results.
