Transtex Names New VP for National Accounts
(firmenpresse) - LEBANON, IN -- (Marketwired) -- 08/24/15 -- Transtex Composite names Dan Crowder vice president of national accounts effective September 1. Crowder has worked with Transtex selling trailer skirts and other aerodynamic solutions for more than 7 years.
"We are pleased to have Dan join our staff in a strategic management position where his intimate knowledge of the motor carrier industry can help speed the deployment of aerodynamic solutions to market," said Marc Bolduc, vice president of business development at Transtex Composite.
The Transtex cone and tail rear fairing provide fuel savings of up to 10 percent when deployed with an skirt and qualify users for the EPA's SmartWay Elite program. Heavy Duty Trucking designated the Cone and Tail as among the top 20 products for 2015.
Crowder brings nearly 20 years of trucking industry experience to the new position at Transtex, including managerial positions at Ryder, XTRA Lease, Mickey Truck Bodies and other trucking industry suppliers where he has demonstrated consistent records of growth in sales and customer satisfaction.
Previously Crowder served as a Captain in the Army's 101st Airborne Division where he held many honors, including status of Army Ranger. He is a State University of New York graduate and resides in Marietta, GA with his wife, Hanna.
