New: 4.0-capable conveyor
At Motek 2015 Montech AG is introducing a 4.0-capable conveyor equipped with a control panel to adjust positioning and speed settings.
Montech’s 4.0-capable conveyor with control panel(firmenpresse) - The operation is controlled via a touch panel on the conveyor. The menu-driven operation is intuitive with a clear structure, allowing both standalone operation and parameter-driven control via PLC. In standalone mode, the operator can control start/stop, speed, acceleration ramp and belt direction.
These parameters are also available in positioning mode, where the operator can additionally set up a travel cycle with specific travel distances and intervals between each step. Operation in positioning mode can be continuous or reversible.
Furthermore the control panel includes a status overview of the drive, which displays values such as current, temperature and failure alerts. The touch panel also offers a service page and an overview of the technical specifications of the conveyor.
The control unit can be provided with Bluetooth or WLAN connectivity upon request, for any communication or analysis purpose.

Motek visitors can see the 4.0-capable conveyor in action at booth No. 3128 in Hall 3 and try the new TB40 conveyor control with an app.
