The Camden Group Adds to Clinical Expertise With Addition of Two Chief Medical Officers
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/03/11 -- The Camden Group, a national leading healthcare business advisory firm, announced today that two former chief medical officers, Teresa Koenig, M.D., MBA and Daniel Cusator, M.D., MBA have joined the company's clinical thought leadership team. Both will serve as vice presidents and add to an already significant team of nurse executives and physician leaders. The firm has been aggressively ramping up its clinical expertise and resources to help clients as they transition from a fee-for-service environment to a fee-for-value system, including assisting clients with their CMS Pioneer ACO applications and preparing for bundled payments.

Dr. Koenig most recently served as senior vice president and chief medical officer of SummaCare, Inc./Apex, Inc., the insurance and third party administrator arm of Summa Health System. Dr. Koenig also previously served as medical director at SummaCare and at Ohio Health Choice. She was appointed to serve on Ohio's Medicaid Task Force as well as the Ohio Health Care Coverage and Quality Council.
Dr. Cusator previously served as chief medical officer, clinical integration for Providence Health & Services, Southern California, where he was responsible for physician alignment and clinical integration across the California region. This included providing clinical leadership for the regional medical practice foundation and the implementation of the alignment model for independent physicians of Providence's five hospitals in California. He is a former IPA medical director and practicing internist at major physician organizations in California.
