DC Releases Behind the Dream: The Making of Robbie Maddison's Pipe Dream

On August 2 the world watched Robbie Maddison ride his motorcycle on one of the most dangerous waves on the planet, and today DC Shoes is revealing "Behind the Dream: The Making of Robbie Maddison's Pipe Dream" to show just how he made his pipe dream a reality. The first video in this three-part series was released today, with the following two parts dropping on September 1 and 2.
The sight of Robbie Maddison riding his 275-pound dirt bike across the unchartered saltwater terrain of the powerful and iconic waves of Tahiti created a buzz around the world, generating more than 40 million views in less than a month. It wasn't long ago that even Robbie's mechanic Buddy Morgan thought there were too many barriers to overcome for this dream to ever be a reality.
