cab @FachPack 2015: First of all, product marking has to be flexible
cab, German manufacturer of product marking systems, presents one-stop customer solutions at the FachPack trade show, September 29 to October 1, 2015 (hall 4, booth 4-308) in Nuremberg. Devices are according to individual needs and application. From compact EOS desktop printers to the two-color Hermes C print and apply system. In the laser marking sector the LM+ label marker is exhibited.
Devices according to individual needs(firmenpresse) - Uwe Lüdemann, Sales Director Label Printing Systems at cab, states: “We have just celebrated the 40th year of our company’s existence. On this account, we would like all our customers and all FachPack visitors to see the whole spectrum of our product marking. That is label printers, systems for automated printing and labeling, added by marking lasers. Devices and solutions that meet even the highest user requirements on quality, reliability and safety”.
Desktop printers providing the features of a larger printer
The printers of the EOS series combine all functions of a solid industrial printer with ease of operation and the compactness of a manageable desktop printer. Besides the standard models EOS1 for label rolls up to 155 millimeters and EOS4 up to 210 millimeters diameter there is also presented a “Mobile” printer version. To be used wherever labels are required and access to electrical connection is missing. A powerful rechargeable battery pack is available.
Label printers for industrial demands
The industrial printers of the A+ line are used in a wide variety of applications. Their design is consequently focused on a simple and intuitive operation combined with high reliability. Depending on customer demands different versions are provided. In Nuremberg the A2+ with a print width up to 57 millimeters is shown. Also the top-selling industrial device A4+ for high printing accuracy with an extensive range of accessories included. Print width up to 105.6 millimeters. Complemented by the A6+ label printer with a print width up to 168 millimeters, ideal for Odette and UCC labels.
Increasingly important: Processing individual two-color labels
GHS (Globally Harmonized System) hazard pictograms are to be printed two-colored and in one single printing process. Hence, in XC two-color printers two printing modules are arranged directly after one another. Labels up to 210 millimeters in height and 148 millimeters width can be handled. cab in Nuremberg also presents the Hermes C real-time print and apply system for printing and dispensing individual two-color labels in one operation.
Automated print and apply
The Hermes+ label printer is designed for fully-automated print and apply processes in production lines. Labels are precisely applied on products and packagings due to various applicators and transfer modules. At the cab booth 4-308 in hall 4 both tamp-on and blow-on applications are shown. Worth seeing: Applying via a suction belt. At this, the printed label is moved to the labeling position via a vacuum belt and applied on the packaging via an external signal.
Laser systems for marking components and workpieces
In laser marking diode-pumped fiber lasers ensure high beam quality. With the LM+ label marker labels of different sizes can be marked directly from rolls. There are no additional tools needed for cutting. Printed labels can be separated via a cutter or rewound by using an external rewinder.
