400 Business Meetings Reach Several Hundred Million Dollars Output Value in Digital Taipei 2015
(firmenpresse) - TAIPEI, TAIWAN -- (Marketwired) -- 09/09/15 -- The "Digital Taipei 2015, Taipei International Digital Content Seminar," organized by the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, came to an end on the 9th. A total of 20 countries and regions from afar joined this year's event (including Belgium, Canada, India, Poland, Sweden, Germany, the Philippines, US, UK, Singapore, France, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China). Also, there were over 200 international buyers, 100 domestic companies and indie developers who participated. Within 2-days of activities, a total of 400 match-making sessions were organized, and the event drove several hundred million dollars in potential value for Taiwan's digital content industry.
The seminar topics included mobile/VR game development, 4K video effect, next generation application, international smart school, innovative learning, new game market, mobile digital anime, and indie game development. Over 2,000 enthusiastic audiences participated in over 30 sessions of the International Forum. Special events including "Indie Exhibition Area," "Golden Penguin Award, Top Apps - Battle Finale," "Tans Action Contest Finals & 'Reveal the secret of NG' Seminar" and "4C Digital Design Awards Ceremony" also attracted vast crowds to attend.
Digital Taipei has gradually established a reputation for itself domestically and internationally over the course of 7 years. Not only are international speakers actively seeking opportunities for forum participation, but many international companies also wish to acquire a space at the exhibition. The accumulation of forum sessions have reached over 160 and the event contributed nearly 2,000 business meetings, and generated over 65 million US dollars in potential business opportunities. In hopes of promoting Taiwan as a development center for the digital content industry, the organizer will continue its endeavor to make Digital Taipei the largest digital content trading platform in Asia.
