Fredrik Halvorsen to join the Seatankers Group.

The Seatankers Group is pleased to announce that Fredrik Halvorsen (37) will
join the firm's management to help accelerate the performance of the group's
core investments. Halvorsen will with his background add a new dimension to the
group. It is the intention that Halvorsen will be given the main responsibility
to follow up several of the group's investments but also help monitor the
group's overall business and new ventures together with the rest of the
management team. He will be given a particular role to strengthen and develop
the Group's presence in the East Asian markets.
Halvorsen comes from Cisco Systems where he led the integration of TANDBERG, the
global leader in telepresence and video technology that was acquired by Cisco
for USD 3.3 billion. Until its acquisition, Halvorsen served as the CEO of
TANDBERG. During his term (2005-2010) TANDBERG grew from USD 345 million in
revenue to USD 1 billion and the market capitalization quadrupled.
John Fredriksen says in a comment: "We are very happy that Mr Halvorsen has
accepted to join Seatankers. He is young, aggressive, hard working, has great
leadership skills and a strong track record. We are hopeful that his
qualifications can add knowledge to our Group and help us to develop what

international business experience and deep operational knowledge well qualifies
