Local Agency Responds To Community Wide Confusion
Many are facing a time to make decisions but don’t have enough information.
(firmenpresse) - Lake Ozark, MO, Sep 24, 2015 -- In response to the confusion surrounding the upcoming Medicare and health insurance enrollment periods, Krantz Insurance Group, LLC, is offering two free informational events. These events are designed to be educational in nature and are being offered as a service to the community.
Those individuals who are self-employed, contractors, and small business employees are still coping with the effects of health care reform, known as the Affordable Care Act. Many are unsure how to access plans or how to deal with the complexities of the new system; things like provider networks, deductibles, and the new maximum-out-of-pocket structure.
For those seniors who are entering Medicare, as well as those already at Medicare age, the system and choices don’t resemble any other plan they may have had before. According to a 2014 report from the Kaiser Family Foundation, seniors are frustrated by the sheer volume of information they receive via mail, television, and other media platforms.
Krantz Insurance has made it a priority to bring clarity to these decisions. On Tuesday, October 20, 2015, Krantz Inusrance’s Benefits Advisor Zechariah Shown will be giving a presentation as well as fielding questions regarding Medicare and Medicare health plans. The enrollment period for Medicare runs from October 15, to December 7.
Then again on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, Mr. Shown will be offering information regarding the Affordable Care Act and health insurance. The enrollment period for the ACA runs from November 1 to January 31.
- Both events will be held at The Church At Osage Hills in Osage Beach, will go from 5:30pm until 6:30pm, and light snacks will be provided.
