Non-functional requirements and personal performance: Software-QS-Tag 2015 with keynotes by Yaron Tsubery and Monika Matschnig
Moehrendorf, 2 October 2015 – It is not only a question of what is done but also how it’s done – this is the common statement of the two Software-QS-Tag keynotes, which could hardly differ more in their other aspects: Non-functional requirements for IT-systems are the focus of the lecture by ITCB® president and former ISTQB® president Yaron Tsubery. Body language expert Monika Matschnig highlights the perfect bearing in the everyday work – not only for testers.
(firmenpresse) - Yaron Tsubery explains in the opening keynote „The Importance of Non-Functional Requirements for IT-Systems“, where not to fail and even how to add value to the project and to the quality of the product throughout better requirements and risks assessment of non-functional areas. The president of the Israeli Testing Certification Board (ITCB®) has observed – as part of his role as senior tester and quality manager – that non-functional testing is sadly neglected in major parts of the industry and even more worse, seen as less important in software development projects. Yet, it is often precisely the non-functional features that determine the success with the customers.
The closing keynote „Persönliche Performance und Usability“ by Monika Matschnig is all about one’s own performance. The well-known expert for body language and appeal explains the important role of gesturing and mimic. Using some examples of tricky situations in testers’ everyday life, she shows how to resolve them sovereignly and successfully by means of the right bearing.
The Software-QS-Tag 2015 takes place in Nuremberg on 5th and 6th November. This year’s main topic is “Non-Functional Testing”. More than 50 speakers discuss which tasks and challenges can be resolved and which techniques, tools and best practices are currently available.
