SBM Offshore has received questions following media publications about a
potential settlement in Brazil. On September 28, 2015 SBM Offshore issued a
press release about the invitation the company received to participate in
Petrobras tenders. In this release the company confirmed that the company is in
constructive discussions with the authorities but pending the finalization of
these discussions the company will not further comment. Today the company
confirms that these discussions are ongoing and no conclusion has been reached.
