Templeton Emerging Markets Income Fund ("TEI") Announces Revised Dividend Characterization

(firmenpresse) - FORT LAUDERDALE, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 10/08/15 -- (NYSE: TEI) today announced a revision to the quarterly dividend characterization from net investment income of $0.20 per share previously announced on June 15, 2015. The revised characterization is comprised of net investment income of $0.1937 per share and a long-term capital gains distribution of $0.0063 per share, which was payable on July 15, 2015 to shareholders of record on June 30, 2015 (Ex-Dividend Date: June 26, 2015).
