Wärtsilä Corporation, Press release, 20 October 2015 at 10 am EET

Wärtsilä, the leading global supplier of flexible and efficient power plant
solutions and services, has signed a three-year maintenance agreement with Umm
AlQura Cement Company for their power plant near Taif city in Saudi Arabia. With
this asset management agreement, signed in August 2015, Wärtsilä assumes full
responsibility for operations and maintenance of the power plant consisting of
five Wärtsilä 32 engines with combined output of 47 MW and its related
equipment.

The signed agreement is a long term operational partnership with a common goal
to ensure maximised lifetime and guaranteed performance and lifecycle costs for
Umm AlQura's power plant in a safe, reliable, and environmentally sustainable
way.

"We wanted a partner that can provide us with the highest possible level of risk
management, ongoing maintenance and engine efficiency, as the power plant serves
our cement factory in extreme ambient conditions, such as high ambient
temperatures and high altitudes," says Mr. Fawaz Al-Mutairi, General Manager
from Umm AlQura.

The new version of the Wärtsilä 32 engine is designed to operate at outstanding
efficiency in all conditions, and it delivers reduced fuel consumption while
complying with the World Bank Environment, Health and Safety guidelines for NOx
emissions.

"We are very enthusiastic to start our co-operation with Umm AlQura. We are
committed to offer them the possibility to focus on their core business while we
take the operative responsibility of the installation," concludes Moeen Arshad,
General Manager, Wärtsilä Corporation.
