Wärtsilä appoints Pierpaolo Barbone Deputy to the CEO

Mr Pierpaolo Barbone (58) MSc (Eng.) has been appointed Deputy to the CEO as of
1 November 2015. He assumes this responsibility in addition to his existing
position as President of Services, Executive Vice President.
Mr Barbone joined Wärtsilä in 1996. He has held several management positions
within the Services business, including leading the Services activities for the
Middle East and Asia region, field services globally and the South Europe &
Africa region. He has headed the Services organisation since 2013.
