(Wettenberg, September 22, 2010) - PVA TePla Danmark of Frederikssund, Denmark,
manufacturer of crystal-growing systems using float-zone methods, has received a
further order from a Chinese company to supply float-zone systems with a total
value of almost EUR 5 million.
The Danish branch of PVA TePla AG specializes in the manufacture of float-zone
crystal growing systems, with which high-purity, monocrystalline silicon rods in
particular can be manufactured, for example for highly efficient photovoltaic
wafers and for high-frequency applications in the semiconductor industry.
