TransAtlantic appoints president

The Board of TransAtlantic has resolved to appoint Stefan Eliasson as President
and CEO of the company.
Stefan Eliasson, who has been employed at the company since 2000, is a graduate
in Business Administration and has extensive experience of various positions at
the company, most recently as Head of the Offshore/Icebreaking business area.
"It will be exciting to work on the challenges that TransAtlantic currently
faces and I look forward to the task of advancing the company and building a
distinct and strong brand," Stefan Eliasson said in a statement.
Stefan Eliasson has been acting President of the company since year-end 2009.
