Nutanix Ready Validation and Partnership Reinforce Illumio's Security Leadership and Innovation
(firmenpresse) - SUNNYVALE, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 10/28/15 -- Illumio today announced a partnership with Nutanix, the next-generation enterprise computing company, to deliver adaptive security to Nutanix Xtreme Computing Platform (XCP)-based cloud environments. The software-based Illumio Adaptive Security Platform (ASP)™ provides an enterprise-ready continuous delivery system for security. It programs the ideal security policy and manages micro-segmentation across applications, workloads and processes as they are provisioned, operated and moved in any data center or private and public cloud infrastructure.
Illumio has joined the Nutanix Elevate Technology Alliance program and is validated as Nutanix Ready for all Nutanix XCP hypervisors (Acropolis, Hyper-V, ESXi). The partnership helps enterprise customers by reducing the risk of cyber incursions with rapid containment while providing the following core benefits:
1. Live visibility of applications, micro-segmentation and encryption to secure distributed workloads running on Nutanix clusters
