Judicial Recount to Be Held in the Electoral District of Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River

(firmenpresse) - GATINEAU, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 10/30/15 -- The Chief Electoral Officer of Canada, Marc Mayrand, announced today that there will be a judicial recount of the votes in the electoral district of Desnethe-Missinippi-Churchill River (Saskatchewan). Following validation of the results in the electoral district, the difference between the two leading candidates was 71 votes. A candidate requested the recount.
The recount will begin on Monday, November 2, 2015. The results of the recount will be published on the Elections Canada website after it is completed.
