Acomodeo simplifies the booking process of serviced apartments by launching the first independent booking platform to pool and to classify the global inventory. As previously announced in the trade press the website is now available online and makes more than 100.000 serviced apartments in 106 countries directly bookable.
(firmenpresse) - Frankfurt, 13.11.2015 - Acomodeo was testing the platforms’ functionality and booking process together with selected experts in the field of business travel for one month to perfectly meet the markets’ requirements. Now the time has come and the boooking platform specialized in Serviced Apartments is available online after the successful testing period.
The platform begins precisely where the customer experience throughout the former booking process was not designed satisfyingly: “We transfer the user experience known from the hotel industry to a product particularly designed for longstay and business travellers: no hiring contracts, unclear additional charges or broker’s fees.” states Eric-Jan Krausch, one of the founders of Acomodeo. “We are the first independent booking platform to pool the global inventory and make it searchable as well as directly bookable.”
The Acomodeo Team is more than satisfied with the results of the expert panel including business travellers as well as renowned apartment providers. Co-Founder David Wohde summarizes: “Our partners’ general resonance was very positive and helped us to adapt our fine-tuning process accordingly to the requirements of the market. As we place a particular emphasis on a cooperative relationship with apartment providers worldwide we took selected providers on board to efficiently develop the benefits of using Acomodeo as an additional distribution channel.”
Acomodeo makes use of a newly developed data model and offers its own property management system as well as an extranet allowing apartment providers to easily display short and especially long stay rates. A process that has not been adequately digitised in the serviced apartment industry so far. “Particularly for smaller providers we want to simplify the entry to digital distribution whereas major providers that are using hotel solutions for their inventories shall be able to perfectly present their differing accommodation products”, explains Eric-Jan Krausch.
