(firmenpresse) - Düsseldorf. This year two brand new handheld terminals were added to the BHT product line which is very popular among end users. The BHT product series by DENSO are perfectly adaptable for all mobile data capturing applications in storage, logistics, POS installations, production and field & sales force automation. The new devices are not just new innovations, but they are also even more user-friendly when compared to previous models. BHT-1400 and BHT-1500 offer the usual robustness, reliability, and high performance of any products manufactured by DENSO WAVE, which is part of the Toyota group and inventor of the QR Code and FrameQR Code. Furthermore, their lightweight and ergonomic design leads to easy handling of the units for operators. The particularly large LCD and the user-friendly keys are features, which make the scanners perfect for use in storage, logistics, production and retail POS environments.

All the functionalities of the DENSO BHT-1400 series are convincing from start to finish: The terminals are based on Windows® Embedded Compact 7 Operating System. The high definition 3.2 inch LCD guarantees crystal-clear readability. The devices are extremely resistant due to implementation of the IP65 standard. Additionally, they can be easily used in one-handed operations because of their slim and ergonomic design. The experts at DENSO WAVE, part of the Toyota group and inventor of the QR Code and FrameQR Code, developed the “Advanced Scan Plus” feature for extra fast data capture. Managing scans at high speed and from a large distance is no problem for the device. The BHT-1400 therefore reduces the working hours by up to 30 per cent in contrast to other products that are conventionally used in storage, logistics, POS, production and field & sales force automation. The BHT-1500 series is another brand new innovation by DENSO. The barcode handheld terminal also has the “Advanced Scan Plus” feature and offers the same high performance as the BHT-1400. However, it is much smaller and lighter, making it perfect to use at the POS. Due to the scanner’s handiness and its ergonomic body, the handling is very simple for female users or users with small hands. The weight of the BHT-1500 scanners is just about 128 grams making it one of the lightest terminals on the market. In addition, the BHT-1500 has a bright 2.0 inch colour LCD that can easily be read. Not only is high speed scanning possible with the BHT-1500 barcode handheld terminal, but also the productivity at the point of sale, storage, and logistics can be optimized due to the unit’s efficient power management system that allows an operating life of up to 85 hours.
