RHJ International Announces Management Changes

Brussels, October 1, 2010 - In view of RHJ International's ("RHJI") current
transformation and its ultimate exclusive focus on financial services, RHJI is
pleased to announce today the appointment of Dr. Martha Boeckenfeld to the
position of Chief Financial Officer of RHJI succeeding to Mr. Jean-Marc
Roelandt.
Dr. Boeckenfeld joined RHJI in May of 2007. Prior to her new appointment as
Chief Financial Officer, Dr. Boeckenfeld was a Managing Director of RHJI and was
primarily focused on the development of RHJI's financial services business,
including the acquisition of Kleinwort Benson. Before joining RHJI, Dr.
Boeckenfeld served as Member of the Executive Board of Winterthur Group and held
various positions at Winterthur Group, including Head of Transaction and
Divestiture, Group Reinsurance, Head of the Integration from Winterthur to Axa
and Regional Chief Financial Officer Asia Non-Life. Dr. Boeckenfeld brings over
13 years of financial services expertise to her new role at RHJI.
Mr. Roelandt, who served as Chief Financial Officer since March of 2007, will
become a Managing Director of RHJI and of Kleinwort Benson Group. In his new
role, Mr. Roelandt will lead certain integration efforts in RHJI's further
transformation into a financial services firm and assume broader
responsibilities in its transaction activities.
