Public Service Announcement: Artillery Gun Salute for Speech From the Throne

(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/03/15 -- On Friday, December, 2015 local army reserve unit 30th Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery, will be firing a gun salute to celebrate the Speech from the Throne. Four C3 Howitzers will be positioned near the east block of Parliament Hill and will fire a gun salute starting at approximately 4:30 p.m. The guns will fire at 10 second intervals until 4:33 p.m.

Local residents may be alerted to the loud noise caused by blank rounds being fired.
