Breakthrough order in Germany
(Thomson Reuters ONE) -
Gothenburg, October 5th 2010 - Cryptzone Group has secured a major contract in
Germany worth more than ?280 000. The order consists of 3000 licenses for the
access control system "AppGate Security Server" and includes a three-year
support and maintenance plan. The client is a global German conglomerate, which
for confidentiality reasons wishes not to be mentioned by name, at this point.
The solution will secure external access to the company's internal network via
mobile phones in addition to strengthening the internal network access control.
This customer acknowledges a growing need to allow their employees access to
corporate information via their smart phones without compromising security.
Cryptzone Group's solution now enables employees to gain secured granular access
to information. The customer is expected to place additional orders to extend
the solution in the future.
"We have been investing in the German market and receiving recognition of this
magnitude is confirmation of the competitiveness of our solutions," said Peter
Davin, CEO of Cryptzone Group. "Germany is Europe's largest market with a strong
understanding of security. To have a significant large scale enterprise customer
strengthens our position as a leading Data Loss Prevention provider."
The order will affect sales and earnings in the third quarter.
