ProPhotonix Adds New 10mW Green Laser Diode From OSRAM to Product Range
The New PLT5 510 Offers a Competitive Solution for Low Power Applications
(firmenpresse) - SALEM, NH -- (Marketwired) -- 01/14/16 -- ProPhotonix Limited (OTC PINK: STKR) (AIM: PPIX) -- ProPhotonix Limited, a high technology designer and manufacturer of LED illumination systems and laser diode modules, today announces an extension to its range of green laser diodes with the launch of the PLT5 510 from Osram.
The PLT5 510 has an output power of 10mW at 515-530nm, and is offered in a compact TO56 package. The PLT5 510 offers an ideal solution for applications such as targeting, display, biomedical applications and metrology.
The new green laser diode provides a competitive alternative to red laser diodes in low power applications, offering improved visibility to the human eye at equivalent power levels and an opportunity to reduce power consumption in lower power applications.
The new laser diode incorporates a photodiode, offering improved reliability and stability of the output.
