IDM Mining Appoints Gernot Wober to Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/18/16 -- IDM Mining Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: IDM) ("IDM" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Gernot Wober to the Board of Directors.
"We are grateful to have Gernot join our team as Oban Mining's representative, with his extensive experience in advanced project exploration and development," commented Rob McLeod, President and CEO of IDM. "Gernot and I previously worked together for Lac Minerals at Red Mountain in the early 1990's, and I look forward to working with him again as we advance the Project through permitting, engineering and additional exploration."
Mr. Wober, B.Sc., P.Geo. is Vice-President of Exploration for Oban Mining (TSX: OBM). He has over 25 years diverse exploration and mining experience including 16 years for the Hunter Dickinson Group. He has extensive experience with Canadian projects, particularly in British Columbia and Yukon. He has worked on numerous deposit types and metallogenic belts, including in: USA (Alaska and Nevada), Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Sudan, Eritrea, Mozambique and South Africa.
Oban and IDM recently announced a private placement and asset purchase agreement for 65 properties in Yukon (see IDM Mining News Release December 7, 2015).
