Partners Real Estate Investment Trust Amends Distribution Reinvestment Plan
(firmenpresse) - BARRIE, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 01/26/16 -- Partners Real Estate Investment Trust ("Partners REIT") (TSX: PAR.UN) today announces an amendment to its distribution reinvestment plan (the "Plan"). Under the Plan, Partners REIT unitholders that reside in Canada may elect to have their cash distributions reinvested in units of Partners REIT.
In order to better align with its Canadian peers, Partners REIT has elected to change the amount of additional units offered pursuant to the Plan from 5% to 3% of the amount of the reinvested distribution. This change will be effective as March 1, 2016 and will be implemented for any subsequent distributions.
