Rising India, Inc. Announces Acquisition of Saint James Films, Enters Negotiations to Acquire Worldwide Sales, Licensing and Distribution Company
(firmenpresse) - NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 01/27/16 -- Rising India, Inc. (OTC: RSII), a company focused in undervalued opportunities in hospitality and media, is pleased to announce that it has acquired Saint James Films, LLC, a motion picture production company dedicated to produce entertaining genre films for the global marketplace.
Saint James Films, LLC and its library, licenses and receivables is being purchased by Rising India from Mike The Pike Productions, Inc. for 50,000,000 shares in restricted common stock as part of an overall initiative to build shareholder value by bringing assets to the table that hold potential for exponential growth. The library currently includes genre favorites such as 'Lizzie Borden's Revenge', 'Jurassic Shark' and 'Captain Battle', to name a few.
Rising India is also in final discussions to acquire a worldwide sales, licensing and distribution company for filmed entertainment. The target acquisition has a strong presence at domestic and international film markets with a strong track record for producer-friendly deals. An LOI is expected in the coming days and RSII CEO Jim DiPrima is confident the deal can be closed by end of Q1 2016.
"We have reached an agreement to make a deal that is mutually beneficial with what I feel will provide tremendous upside for shareholders," states DiPrima. "Once finalized, this, in line with our acquisition of Saint James Films, LLC, will result in a full service media holdings company with access to development, production, licensing and distribution in an industry strong and growing. Owning film titles is nice, but combined with a soup-to-nuts sales and distribution agency, the model now give us access to multiple revenue streams on both sides of the table."
Rising India will focus on bringing in subsidiaries and joint ventures that are diversified within the entertainment and media space, including income producing websites, new media channels, sales agency/distribution, gaming and possible investment in technology which greatly impacts the space such as virtual reality (VR).
