Lunar New Year Events Include Entertainment, Hung Bao & Over $412,000 in Cash Prizes

On February 8, 15 and 22, Club Barona members will have a chance to win $888 every 8 minutes from 10am - 10pm. Beginning at 10:00am, one hot seat winner will be electronically drawn from active players every 8 minutes to win $888 each (91 total winners). Club Barona players must earn 500 points or equivalent table games play since 8am on the drawing day to be qualified to win remaining drawings that day; Diamond members automatically qualify.
Adding to the excitement, the celebration continues at 9 p.m. with a parade of Lion and Dragon dancers, a traditional Lion and Dragon dance performance and a martial arts and dragon ceremony. Finally, lucky Hong Bao will be distributed throughout the casino floor during the 9 p.m. Lion and Dragon performance.
The fun will build on Wednesday, February 10 and 17 during a drawing when five lucky winners will each receive $8,888. Players who earn 250 points during the promotion days will be entered to win and do not have to be present to claim their prize. On February 12 and 19, Club Barona members will all earn 8X points while playing keno and video poker from 8am - 8pm.
Throughout the two-week celebration lucky Hong Bao will be given away to crowds at randomly selected dates and times. Last but not least, players who hit the "monkey" bonus symbol on Party People games during Lunar New Year will win additional Hong Bao of up to $88.
Barona will also be dishing up traditional cuisine and dining specials as part of the Lunar New Year celebration. The selection of specialty dishes, expertly prepared by executive chef Ringo Lau who trained in Hong Kong, will be served in Barona's Ho Wan Noodle Shop and Sage Café. Selections will include: Fish Maw Crab Meat Soup; Abalone with Shitake Mushroom; Deep Fried Chicken; Vietnamese Style Basil Lobster; Diced Tenderloin with Macadamia Nuts; Garlic Steamed Chilean Sea Bass; Sausages with Sticky Rice; American Ginseng Tea; and Sweet Almond Soup w/ Rice Ball Lotus Paste.
