Veidekke ASA: To build homes in Malmö

Veidekke has been awarded a contract by Magnolia Bostad AB to build 279
apartments in Limhamn in Malmö. This is a turnkey contract valued at SEK 283
million, excluding VAT.
Veidekke will erect two five-storey shells, in addition to a cellar with parking
and technical rooms. There will be 129 and 150 apartments in each unit
respectively, most of them bedsits and one bedroom. A high degree of
prefabrication is planned in the project, for example through the use of
bathroom modules and elements for the shell. Planning and production will take
place using VDC (Virtual Design and Construction), and through involvement and
collaboration between all participators.

The plan and design work starts immediately, while construction is scheduled to
start in the summer with completion in October 2018.
