Total Software Revenue Grows 53 Percent Over 2014

Subscription software license revenue grew 72 percent over the same period. Appian's subscription software license revenue has grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 66 percent since 2012. Total revenue for the company in 2015 grew 22 percent over the prior year.
Appian expanded its global direct presence in 2015 with new offices in Switzerland and Italy, expanding from established Appian offices in London, France, Germany, The Netherlands, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Appian global office presence is complemented by the company's on-going local data center network expansion, partnering with Amazon Web Services. As of the close of 2015, Appian provides data centers across the USA (Virginia, California and Oregon), Brazil, Ireland, Germany, Singapore and Australia. In 2015, Appian Cloud received FedRAMP compliance authorization, adding to the long list of accreditations proving the Appian Cloud environment safe, secure, and scalable.
The majority of Appian's 2015 revenue came from five key industries: financial services, insurance, life sciences, healthcare and the U.S. federal government.
