MES now managed under dual leadership.
February 16, 2016, Berlin: Dr. Heiko Dörr takes over as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Model Engineering Solutions (MES) as of Februar 1, 2016. Dr. Hartmut Pohlheim retains the position of Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

He has been driving the use of model-based development forward ever since the very beginning. His quick analyses identify customers’ needs and feasible solutions. The perfect networker and always on the cutting edge, he ensures that products and projects are state-of-the-art at all times. Some say he is the “spider in the web”, others simply call him “the guy who gets things done”.
Dr. Heiko Dörr is part of the MES management team as Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2012 and has established the project management division and the MES Academy, an important branch within MES. His MES Academy consultant team supports clients in the analysis, implementation, and optimization of software development processes with regard to important safety standards such as ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR. Dr. Heiko Dörr succeeds Dr. Ingo Stürmer as CEO of Model Engineering Solutions, who remains actively involved in shaping the strategic framework of MES as founder and owner. “Model-based development is one of the key technologies for the development of embedded systems. We at MES set ourselves the task of further improving the safety of software systems through our products and services. Thus the 2nd generation of MES Quality Commander® (MQC) addresses the growing need of our customers for enhanced quality status tracking. MQC will therefore be introduced as a further component of the MES product portfolio in customized development environments“, stated Dr. Heiko Dörr about the medium-term focus of his work.
