German Furniture Stores will use Futura Software for Checkout
Krieger Group makes decision for POS Software Futura4POS
(PresseBox) - The Krieger Group started a project to renew the infrastructure at the Point-of-Sale and decided to implement Futura4POS in all furniture stores of the Group in Germany. The most well-known brands within the Krieger Group are Möbel Höffner, Möbel Kraft and Sconto SB. A pilot system will be installed in May in one of the 19 Höffner furniture stores.
Afterwards the rollout of Futura4POS in all 27 stores of the furniture brand Sconto SB in Germany is planned. All other stores of the Group will follow with the implementation of 500 POS systems from Futura Retail Solution AG. The POS solution Futura4POS will be connected to the ERP system of the Krieger Group.
The RFP process for the evaluation of a new POS solution for one of the leading companies of the furniture sector in Germany was attended by many main POS solution providers. Most relevant criteria were the modern, scalable architecture of Futura4POS, the wide range of functionalities and a very ergonomic user interface.
Flexibility was also important for the decision, not only flexibility of the system itself, but also of the solution provider. Futura was capable to customise fast and flexible it POS system to the required business processes.

Around 9000 employees serving high level customer service from measurement to installation. Another 1000 employees are working in one of the 27 stores of "Sconto SB - Der Möbelmarkt GmbH".
