Tinka Announces Passing of Director William Lee
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/21/16 -- Tinka Resources Limited ("Tinka" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE: TK)(OTC PINK: TKRFF) announces with regret that Mr. William Lee, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, passed away over the weekend following an illness.
Mr. Lee joined Tinka's board in October 2002 as an independent director with financial management and accounting experience in both public and private companies. During his extensive career, Mr. Lee held executive-level positions in the mining industry and also served as director to several publicly-listed companies.
"Apart from being a director and a contributing member of the audit committee, Willie was a great supporter, business associate, friend to many and will be greatly missed. The entire board of directors and management of Tinka is deeply saddened by Willie's passing and offer our thoughts, prayers and condolences to Willie's family at this difficult time," said Graham Carman, Tinka's President and CEO.
