Waalre, 15. August 2011 - ARCHEA Biogas N.V., a full-service supplier of
biogas plants, herewith announces that its fully owned subsidiary, ARCHEA
Biogastechnologie GmbH, has founded the Croatian ARCHEA Biogas d.o.o.
together with Appletree Management Luxemburg d.o.o. in July of this year.
Both management boards, Mr Oliver Nacke and Mr Zwonkao Bratusa for
Appletree Management Luxemburg d.o.o., signed the limited liability company
agreement on 05.07.2011. Meanwhile, the company is registered. Its
registered office is in the capital city of Croatia, Zagreb. ARCHEA
Biogastechnologie GmbH holds a share of 51% in the new company and takes
over the technical part of the company. Until present, Appletree Management
Luxemburg d.o.o has developed and implemented several photovoltaic projects
in Croatia. Furthermore, the company has excellent contacts and good market
knowledge in the field of renewable energies in Croatia.
Prior to signature, current projects in Croatia were discussed and
preliminary agreements were concluded with several sites.
'Croatia will be the second interesting biogas market in Europe following
Italy. Therefore, it is indispensible for us to develop and implement
upcoming projects with an experienced partner. Moreover, the feed-in tariff
for biogas electricity presently amounts to 19 cent/kWh in Croatia and the
profit situation for substrates is significantly higher than in Germany in
view of the climatic conditions', concludes Oliver Nacke, chairman of the
management board of ARCHEA Biogas N.V., from the positive prerequisites for
a commitment in Croatia.
After the successful start of the internationalisation of ARCHEA
Biogastechnologie thanks to the foundation of subsidiaries in Italy and
Brazil, also Croatia is now one of the countries in the focus of ARCHEA.
