New topics in the MES webinar series
MES now offers webinars on quality measurement in software projects and detailed design in model-based development.
(firmenpresse) - April 11., 2016, Berlin (Germany): Model Engineering Solutions (MES), software specialists from Berlin, offer free webinars since spring 2014. From ISO 26262 in 10 Steps to introducing MES software tools, MES webinars cover relevant topics of quality assurance in model-based development. With the expansion of the successful webinar series MES now offers two new topics.
Quality measurement and assessment of software projects
The new webinar targets project managers and quality managers who provide information on the quality status of software projects. This webinar addresses how data from different tools can be processed automatically in a central location in a way that clearly represents and measures the quality of the software development process. A visible assessment of the maturity level of software allows identifying possible weak points and initiating appropriate countermeasures early on in the development process. Concepts and functions will be presented by means of the MES Quality Commander® (MQC).
Tuesday, April 12, 2016, 4 - 5 p.m.
Wednesday, April 13, 2016, 10 - 11 a.m.
Detailed design in model-based development
The second topic considers the implementation of detailed design in model-based development. Detailed design is an essential step in software development and as such based on Automotive SPICE. Procedures for detailed design are established and well known for programming languages such as C. However, one-to-one implementation in model-based development is not possible, since the use of models already covers key aspects of detailed design. This lecture will present how base practices of detailed design according to ASPICE PRM SWE.3 can be achieved in model-based development.
Tuesday, April 26, 2016, 4 - 5 p.m.
Wednesday, April 27, 2016, 10 - 11 a.m.
More about the MES webinars
MES has established a series of online seminars since 2014. The thematic webinars offer tool demonstrations and address various aspects of development and assurance of safety-critical software. Tool demonstrations provide participants details about the functionalities and new features of the software tools MES Model Examiner®, MES M-XRAY®, MES Test Manager®, and MES Quality Commander®. Other webinars address key issues such as the implementation of ISO 26262, the use of modeling guidelines, or detailed design in models. “Since their introduction, webinars are an important medium to keep our customers up-to-date on the latest versions of MES tools and to provide interested parties the opportunity to get to know the tools better. At the same time, we would like to share our knowledge in areas we are experts in: ISO 26262, modeling guidelines, and quality assurance”, stated Dr. Heiko Dörr, CEO of MES.
