(firmenpresse) - PENTICTON, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 08/15/11 -- Hillside Estate Winery & Bistro is proud to present an evening of talented musicians on August 21 from 5:00 until 8:00pm.
To complement our local cuisine and fine wines, we are thrilled to feature the following artists on our magnificent patio:
Aidan Mayes: Penticton's own award-winning musician and graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts in Victoria, BC. Her voice is reminiscent of Sarah McLachlan and Joan Baez and her personality is infectious.
Tavis Weir: Originally from Hamilton, ON, with a degree in Jazz guitar from the University of Toronto. He is a unique songwriter in the leagues of Joni Mitchell and Ray LaMontagne. With a warm, soothing voice and incredible jazz guitar skills, he is sure to win your heart.
Mia Harris: Born and raised in Penticton, BC, Mia recently completed an Opera Diploma from the University of Toronto, as well as an Artist Diploma from the Vancouver Academy of Music following her Bachelor of Music at UBC. We are proud to welcome this accomplished singer to the stage for a few very special appearances.
