Polsinelli Shareholder Brooks Clark to Speak at the Mortgage Bankers Association of NY Panel on Mitigation of Risks in Construction Lending on April 21, 2016

Brooks Clark, Shareholder at Polsinelli, focuses heavily on complex financings in real estate deals. He has extensive experience with conduit lending and highly structured debt, as well as representing large banks in construction loan deals. Since joining Polsinelli in 2012, Clark has been instrumental in the firm's significant growth in the New York real estate space.
Clark will bring his legal expertise to the panel composed of a developer and lenders. He will discuss protections against the filing of mechanics' liens afforded under the New York Lien Law and best practices employed by mezzanine lenders to protect themselves and the senior mortgage lender against construction risk. The panel will be moderated by Peter Millar, Executive Vice President of Construction Consulting Services at AEI Consultants.
