(Oslo, 27 October 2010) EDB ErgoGroup announces the launch of a new iPhone
application ("app") that delivers information from public databases on real
estate, businesses and vehicles directly to mobiles. The new app is now approved
and available from AppStore.
"We see growing demand for iPhone "apps" designed for commercial users, with
more and more companies interested in ways for their employees to use mobile
phones to help with their work. This new "app" is the first we have developed
ourselves, and it is designed particularly for commercial users who are on the
road a great deal such as real estate brokers and valuers, car dealers, and
insurance agents", explains Håvard Larsen, who is the nominated EVP - Solutions
at EDB ErgoGroup.
The app provides iPhone access to information from sources such as the Norwegian
land registry ("Grunnboken") and the register of charges over movable property
("Løsøreregisteret"). The service is part of EDB ErgoGroup's range of services
for information from public and private databases through Infotorg.no. The app
is designed for the commercial market.
Information you can access from Infotorg for iPhone
· Real estate: Information from the land registry on freehold and leasehold
real estate owned by persons and businesses. Information on mortgagors, charges
and freeholders from Grunnboken, together with information on other charges from
Løsøreregisteret.
· Motor vehicles: Technical information on vehicles, second-hand values from
EurotaxGlass Norway, new car prices and demographic information on owners from
the Norwegian Road Federation ("Opplysningsrådet for Veitrafikken"), as well as
information from Løsøreregisteret on whether any finance is outstanding on a
vehicle.
· Companies and businesses: Registration information from the registers of
business enterprises and undertakings ("Enhets-/Foretaksregisteret"),
information on registered charges from Løsøreregisteret, and accounting
information from the business information company Soliditet.
In addition to a flexible search function that makes it easy to find the report
you need, the service also offers a shortcut key that immediately delivers a
complete PDF printout of the report to your e-mail address in case you need to
print or file a copy.
