Crush large and high strength cast parts with high efficiency and without risk with the ATM ArnoBreakC Cast breaker
(PresseBox) - Crushing of bulky cast parts like truck engine blocks, machine bases or cast gating systems is usually performed with hazardous drop work breakers. These breakers crush the parts into easier manageable sizes, but also expose the operator to the danger of getting struck by material splitters. Furthermore drop work breakers don?t allow for an evenly distributed size of the crushed parts which increases the loss due to burn-off in the melting process.
The solution to these problems is the ATM ArnoBreakC cast breaker. The feeding is easily done by a crane or an excavator. After closing the lid, the cast iron parts are crushed inside the crushing chamber to the desired size in one step. To minimize costs due to excessive wear all relevant parts are made of wear resistant material. The crushing force of up to 6.000 kN ensures safe crushing even of high strength cast iron parts.
By subsequent tilting of the crushing chamber after the crushing process the crushed cast parts are removed without risk. This simple, safe and efficient process allows a fast return into the production process and therefore is also interesting for smaller foundries.
