Ateba Announces Cease Trade Order

(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/06/16 -- Ateba Resources Inc. (CSE: ATR) (the "Company") announces that further to its press release of May 4, 2016, pursuant to which the Company announced that it was late in filing its annual financial statements and management discussion and analysis ("MD&A") for the year ended December 31, 2015 and had made application with the applicable securities regulators requesting that a management cease trade order be imposed in respect of this late filing rather than an issuer cease trade order (the "MCTO"), the MCTO was not granted.

As a result, the Director under the Securities Act (Ontario) (the "Act") has made an order under Paragraph 127(1) and subsection 127(4.1) of the Act that, effective immediately, all trading in the securities of the Company shall cease until further order by the Director.
