(the "Company" or "Lexam") (TSX: LEX)(FRANKFURT: VN3A)(OTCQX: LEXVF) announces the results of the vote for the election of Directors held at its Annual Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") on May 6, 2016. Detailed results for the election of Directors are as follows:

At the Meeting, shareholders also voted to approve the appointment of Collins Barrow Toronto LLP as auditors of the Company, with Votes For totaling 103,816,331 shares, representing 99.67% of shares voted.
