VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA - (May 18, 2016) - Naturally Splendid Enterprises Ltd. (Naturally Splendid) (FRANKFURT:50N) (TSX VENTURE:NSP) (OTC:NSPDF) is pleased to announce the Company has been invited by the B.C. Ministry of International Trade to participate in an international trade mission lead by Premier Christy Clark.

British Columbia Premier Christy Clark is leading an international trade mission from May 23-31, 2016 to South Korea, the Philippines and Japan, focused on trade and investment in key sectors and developing opportunities in emerging markets within the region. The trade mission begins in Seoul, South Korea and includes stops in Manila and Tokyo.

This trade mission will focus on strengthening trade and investment with priority markets in South Korea and Japan and developing new trade ties in the Philippines, said Premier Clark. As part of the B.C. delegation, Naturally Splendid will have the opportunity to make connections with potential partners and investors in key markets, which will help them grow their business, create jobs, and contribute even more to the B.C. economy.
Expanding access to markets throughout Asia is a key component of the Provinces new Asia trade strategy, Raising Our Game in Asia. The strategy recognizes the tremendous opportunities for increased trade in Asia, and specifically, in the ASEAN region, which is home to five of the worlds 20 fastest growing economies - the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore.

British Columbias plans to increase trade with the ASEAN region include opening a new trade and investment office in the Philippines capital, Manila, during the trade mission.

A B.C. trade presence in Southeast Asia will provide a platform for B.C. companies to take advantage of the many opportunities created by ASEANs growing economy. B.C.s competitive advantages in sectors such as Clean Technology, Agrifoods and Aerospace could greatly support and enhance ASEANs growth.

This will be B.C.s 12th international trade and investment representative office; other locations include Japan, China, Korea and India.

British Columbias International Trade and Investment representatives (TIRs) play an integral role in the development and execution of international missions by identifying investment leads and facilitating meetings with government stakeholders. TIRs also work with the Ministry of International Trades team of specialists in British Columbia to help B.C. businesses further their overseas presence, and assist international businesses discover what B.C. has to offer as an investment destination.
