Independent Swiss watch manufacturer Zeitwinkel celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2016. Originally the idea of a small group of friends that love watches, the Swiss company has turned into a secret favorite among watch enthusiasts worldwide.

Independent watch manufacturer Zeitwinkel turns 10
Based in the Swiss Jura Mountains, Zeitwinkel manufactures high-end watches with proprietary manufacture movements which were developed over a period of four years. All Zeitwinkel watches are characterized by their classic design and every timepiece features a large sapphire glass window on the back revealing the exclusive movement.
Zeitwinkel was not only one of the first watch brands that are not part of one of the large luxury conglomerates producing its own genuine serial manufacture movements. The company from Saint-Imier is also a pioneer of watch casings made with “Fairmined” gold from ecologically and socially responsible mining. During the last year, the award-winning model 273° saphir fumé became an instant favorite with its transparent dial made from ultra-hard sapphire glass that uncovers the front side of the movement along with the patented large date mechanism.
Looking forward, Zeitwinkel will continue to carefully develop its range of unique movements and hand-made timepieces. Apart from introducing new watch models, the brand plans to also grow sustainably by reaching watch enthusiasts that have not yet discovered Zeitwinkel.
Above all, in 2016 Zeitwinkel will take the time to celebrate with watch lovers that have accompanied the brand from the beginning, with owners of a Zeitwinkel timepiece and of course also with the many friends of our watches.

About Zeitwinkel
Zeitwinkel is an independent manufacture of high-end mechanical timepieces from Switzerland. The central core of every Zeitwinkel watch is the in-house manufacture movement which was developed over a period of four years. Since the beginnings in 2006, the company follows an unusual approach by creating its own in-house movements, its unique watch cases and by sticking to traditional manufacturing methods.
All Zeitwinkel watches and movements are assembled by hand by a team of watchmakers in the Swiss Jura Mountains. All components are made in the region and are therefore “Real Swiss Made”. Thanks to the small quantities produced, the watches will always remain unique and exclusive.
