The saying, "Out with the old and in with the new," is a common theme in construction, but award winning builder, Phelps Homes believes that builders have a responsibility to preserve history. The builder plans to start the construction of an exclusive community called, Kingsway at Jordan Village on the property which is 2848 King Street in Jordan. The site which belonged to the High family for several generations, holds a barn which is 112 years old. Phelps Homes is donating the barn to Town of Lincoln's Jordan Historical Museum on Monday, May 30 at 11:00AM in a ceremony hosted by Mayor Sandra Easton at the barn's current location. Other people attending the ceremony are Regional Chair, Historical Board Chair, council members, and members of the neighbouring condominium board.

"We wanted to build a modern community while still maintaining respect for the history of the land," states Andrea Bermudez, Sales and Marketing Director for Phelps Homes. Kingsway at Jordan Village, is a collection of exclusive attached townhomes perfect for people looking for an elegant yet simple lifestyle. The sales launch for Kingsway at Jordan Village is planned for this coming July with expected moving dates to begin in late spring of 2017. The neighbouring Phelps property, The Residences at Jordan Village, recently received an award from the Canadian Home Builders' Association.
