KONE wins order for tower complex in Beijing's Lize Financial Business District

KONE, a global leader in the elevator and escalator industry, has won an order
for 87 elevators to be installed in the four towers of a mixed-use building
complex under construction in Beijing's imminent Lize Financial Business
District in China.
Built on 52 hectares of land, three of the towers will house Grade A offices
while the fourth will include a five-star hotel, high-end decorated apartments
and a shopping mall. Seventy-six KONE MiniSpace(TM) elevators and 11 KONE
MonoSpace® elevators will enable smooth people flow in all of the towers, which
range in height from 120 meters to 200 meters. The KONE E-Link remote monitoring
system will provide real-time information on equipment status and performance.

The towers are expected to be completed in 2018. The developer of the project,
which was contracted by China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Ltd., is
Beijing Capital Land Ltd. The project architect is Gensler Architecture and the
designer is Benoy Ltd.
The order was booked in the second quarter of 2016.
