SeaMicro's SM10000-64HD server is a third generation server from the company. While it uses only a quarter of the power and one sixth the space of traditional servers, it requires no changes to software whatsoever. The SM10000-64HD combines SeaMicro's revolutionary architecture with 384 of the latest 64-bit Intel® Atom™ N570 dual-core processors. The resulting system delivers 768 1.66 GHz x86 cores in 10 rack units (17.5 inches). Bringing together Intel's most advanced Atom processor and SeaMicro's Internet-optimized server architecture, the SM10000-64 combines the benefits of energy efficiency, high compute density, and 64-bit x86 software support.
