Savant Appoints Chief Financial Officer
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/02/16 -- Savant Explorations Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: SVT) ("Savant" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Herdman as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Herdman replaces Reg Advocaat who has been acting as Interim CFO. Mr. Advocaat remains as a Director of the Company.
Mr. Herdman has over 20 years of international management experience as a consultant and advisor focusing primarily on finance and development of global natural resources, new technology and energy related projects. His consulting services have included capital financing and project development targeting asset acquisitions and divestitures and has worked on behalf of IBM Japan, Baskin-Robbins International, Honda Corporation and JRA, Daiwa Securities. Thomas has an international diploma from Keio University in Tokyo and has lectured in Tokyo's Chuo University in the faculty of literature and Commerce.
Mr. Herdman was granted incentive stock options for the purchase of up to 200,000 common shares of the Company at a price of $0.05 for a five year period pursuant to the Company's Stock Option Plan.
